The Diocese of Derby now seeks applications from outstanding candidates for two Archdeacon posts, to join us in living out that vision in three newly created Archdeaconries (the current Archdeacon of Chesterfield will become Archdeacon of Derbyshire Peak and Dales).
We are seeking an incumbent for this united benefice of two parishes in a beautiful part of rural Cheshire, with a total population of around 4,000. There are three churches (St Oswald Malpas, St John Threapwood and Holy Trinity Bickerton). The parishes are of central tradition. There are strong community links and several schools, including a church school. A good modern rectory is provided.
Our group of six country churches is situated in the triangle between Winchester, Salisbury and Andover. We are looking for someone to lead us on our spiritual journeys, to reach out to our rural communities and to bring people to Christ.
Holy Trinity, Sloane Square, recovering confidently from the impacts of the pandemic, is seeking an exceptional musician to be its Director of Music and to work with a talented team to reinvigorate and expand our long tradition of outstanding music in worship.
