We are seeking a Residentiary Canon for Christ Church who, as a member of Chapter, will bring wisdom, stability and creativity to the life of the Cathedral and contribute as a member of the Governing Body of Christ Church.
We need a part time Rector, a position that would enable you to
pursue that other interest or career in paid employment.
The Parishes of Bacton, Cotton, Old Newton, Wickham Skeith and Wyverstone
seek a new Rector who will:
Inspire our communities and congregations with their enthusiasm and drive
Lead our spiritual development and growth with compelling worship
Nurture the hospitality, thanksgiving, fellowship and welcome in our churches
Build relationships characterised by Christ-like love, mutual care and respect
Fully engage in the pastoral life of our delightful villages in the heart of Suffolk
We are prayerfully seeking an outgoing and collaborative priest with excellent people skills to help lead us into the next stage of our mission and ministry. Our Benefice consists of four rural parishes (six worshipping communities) in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Canterbury and Ashford.
We are looking for pioneering leaders with a passion for planting and growing a culturally and ethnically diverse church and the ability to share our vision and draw people to two new Intercultural Worshipping Communities. IWCs are missional church communities where people from different cultural and ethnic heritage deliberately interact with one another in order to deepen their understanding and experience of God and of each other.
