Early biblical writers had to work out who — and where — God was, writes Karen Armstrong
We are looking for a priest and pastor for St Michael’s Church, Bexhill who will also serve in the team ministry in this delightful seaside town.
Based in a district of southern Edinburgh, St Fillan’s is at the heart of a large and growing residential area.
In glorious open country in the heart of England, the Culworth Benefice embraces three villages and one hamlet with a population of around 1600. The parishes work well together and support each other. South Northamptonshire is one of England’s little known treasures and is markedly rural, with ancient villages in addition to market towns. The villages are warm and hospitable places. People view the Rector and the Church as essential parts of the fabric of life.
This is an exciting role to lead a group of forward-looking parishes in the service of Christ. We are neighbouring parishes, embracing a rich mixture of Christian expression from pioneering to traditional worship, located in rural and coastal Northumberland, yet only a short drive from the city, approximately 15-20 miles north of Newcastle, and close to the market town of Morpeth.
