From Mr Gerald Williams
Sir, — In our parish of Donaghdee (diocese of Down & Dromore), the Great War (Real Life, 25 November; Letters, 2 December) was extended even further to 1920 so as to include on the Great War memorial the name of William Kenny, a parishioner killed in North Waristan, an area still in the news. He was posthumously awarded the VC.
