Death of Chinese bishop: Bishop K. H. Ting (shown, left, with Bishop David Lai of Taiwan in 2006), President Emeritus of the China Christian Council, has died, aged 97. He was consecrated in 1955 in the (Anglican) Holy Catholic Church in China, which was dissolved in the 1960s to form part of the "post-denominational" Church. He was a founder of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement in 1954.
