The Bishop of Chichester is seeking a priest-in-charge of this rural benefice, situated in a scenic part of East Sussex near to the towns of Battle and Hastings. We have recently combined into a single parish (ER 83) and are actively engaged with the life of our villages. Worship, in the broadly central tradition of the Church of England, takes place in both churches each Sunday.
Is God calling you to lead an exploration of what mission means today in countryside ministry here in the Galloway Region of our diocese?
We are a lively, open evangelical church, with a vision for whole life discipleship and a heart to share God’s love with our local community. Located in a large suburban parish in north-east Bristol, ER 248. We now seek someone to lead it into the next phase of growth.
The Diocese of Southwark in conjunction with Surbiton High School wish to make a joint appointment. This new role combines the duties of Team Vicar of St John the Evangelist Kingston and a School Chaplain for Surbiton High School.
We pray for a priest who will bring about the changes that are needed to reinvigorate the two churches within the parish. This will require a practical, creative and empathetic thinker who can discern and develop the gifts that lie within the two congregations to help us strengthen links with our community.
