Bishop of Dunwich to retire

THE Rt Revd Clive Young, Suffragan Bishop of Dunwich, in St Edmundsbury & Ipswich diocese, since 1999, will retire on 12 May 2013, aged 65. Before his present post, he served in London diocese.


ASTBURY. The Revd Susan Astbury, Assistant Curate in the Haldon Team Ministry, now NS Associate Priest (Exeter).

BANKS. The Rt Revd Norman Banks, Suffragan Bishop of Richborough (Canterbury), Hon. Priest-in-Charge of Walsingham, Houghton and Barsham (Norwich), Hon. Assistant Bishop (Norwich), and Hon. Assistant Bishop (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich), to be also Hon. Assistant Bishop (Ely).

CAWTE. The Revd Martin Cawte, house-for-duty Assistant Curate of Hermitage, to be Priest-in-Charge of Eastbury and East Garston (Oxford).

CRESSALL. The Revd Paul Cressall, Priest-in-Charge of Markington with South Stainley and Bishop Thornton, and of Ripley with Burnt Yates, now Vicar of Bishop Thornton, Burnt Yates, Markington, Ripley and South Stainley (Ripon & Leeds).

DOYLE. The Revd Michael Doyle, Assistant Curate of Ashbourne with Mapleton (Derby), to be Rector of the North Beltisloe Group (Lincoln).

FITZGERALD. The Revd Sarah Fitzgerald, Assistant Curate of the Trinity Benefice, Folkestone (Canterbury), to be Team Vicar in the Great Marlow with Marlow Bottom, Little Marlow and Bisham Team Ministry (Oxford).

HARVEY. The Revd Stephen Harvey, Headmaster of Bury Grammar School (Manchester), to be Residentiary Canon of Newcastle (Newcastle).

HINGSTON. The Revd Barry Hingston, NS Assistant Curate of St Paul's, Ealing, to be Priest-in-Charge of St John's, Greenhill (London).

JACKSON. The Revd Janet Jackson, Bereavement Services Co-Ordinator of Tynedale Hospice (Newcastle), to be Chaplain.

JARVIS. The Revd Nathan Jarvis, Vicar of St Luke's, Kingstanding (Birmingham), to be Team Vicar in the Blenheim Team Ministry (Oxford).

KING. The Revd Caroline King, house-for-duty Team Vicar in the Wheatley Team, to be Team Vicar in the Warborough Team (Oxford).

KNOWLES. The Rt Revd Graeme Knowles, Hon. Assistant Bishop (St Edmundsbury & Ipswich), to be also Hon. Assistant Bishop (Ely).

MAYES. The Revd Suzanne Mayes, Chaplain of HM Prison Bullwood Hall, to be also NSM (Associate Minister) of the Ascension, Collier Row, Romford (diocese of Chelmsford).

MESSHAM. The Revd Barbara Messham, Vicar of All Saints', Guildford, and Hon. Canon of Guildford Cathedral (Guildford), to be Priest-in-Charge of Deerhurst and Apperley with Forthampton, Chaceley, Tredington, Stoke Orchard and Hardwicke, and Assistant Curate (Associate Priest) of Tewkesbury with Walton Cardiff and Twyning (Gloucester).

PARRY. The Revd Andrew Parry, NS Assistant Curate of Horton and Wraysbury, to be NS Assistant Curate of Stoke Poges (Oxford).

SIBANDA. The Revd Melusi Sibanda, Priest-in-Charge of Rednal, to be also Area Dean of Kings Norton (Birmingham).

WARD. The Revd Dr Timothy Ward, Team Rector in the Holy Trinity Team Ministry, Hinckley (Leicester), to be Associate Director of the Cornhill Training Course, Proclamation Trust.

WATTS. The Revd Thomas Watts, Assistant Curate of Wharton (Chester), now Assistant Curate (Associate Vicar) in the Great Chesham Team Ministry (Oxford).

WORTON. The Revd Paschal Worton, Assistant Curate in the Old St Pancras Team Ministry (London), to be Team Vicar.


CAMPBELL. The Revd Elizabeth Campbell, Priest-in-Charge of St Luke's, Dundee, to be Assistant Curate of St Philip's, Catterline, and St Ternan's, Muchalls (Brechin), and Healthcare Chaplain of Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (Aberdeen & Orkney).


EADY. The Revd Timothy Eady, Vicar of Iver (Oxford), to be Associate Mission Partner of Christ Church, Bangkok, Thailand (Singapore, South East Asia).
