From Mr J. Longstaff

Sir, - The judge who ruled that the pro-life demonstrations in Brighton were lawful ( News, 21 September) displays wisdom about how this society needs to retain an honest dealing with truth, and not sweep distasteful things under the carpet, or hide them from public view. Life is precious, and society must do all it can to protect those who are not able to protect themselves, especially the unborn.
