From the Revd Michael Broadley

Sir, — I was disappointed by the Revd Mike Starkey’s review of David Runcorn’s Fear and Trust (Books, 13 April). His book does not ignore modern leadership thinking, but provides a biblical, balanced, provocative, and challenging counter to the idea that management theory is everything in a fast-paced, short-term, results-driven culture that can seep into the Church. He sensitively places God at the heart of Christian leadership.
