Sir, — I always expect pro-Israel spin from Friends of Israel groups, but for Frances Waddams to maintain that the “substantial Arab Christian community is growing” in that part of the Middle East (Letters, 17 February) flies in the face of all recent authentic statistics, including those of the Israeli government. These attest to the severe decline of the Christian presence in Israel/Palestine.
