GLAZEBROOK. - On 31 July, the Revd William Leng Glazebrook: Chaplain of Trinity College. Glenalmond (1984); Priest-in-Charge of Glencarse (1984-87); Brechin Diocesan Secretary (1984-87); Chaplain of HM Prison Perth (1985-87); Vicar of Broughton Poggs with Filkins, Broadwell with Kelmscot, Kencot, Langford and Little Farringdon (1987-94); aged 82.

GRIMWADE. - On 30 July, the Revd John Girling Grimwade: Perpetual Curate of Londonderry, Staffordshire (1956-62); Rector of Caversham (1962-81); Curate-in-Charge of Mapledurham (1968-81); Rector of Caversham and Mapledurham (1981-83); Hon. Canon of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford (1973-90); Chaplain to the Queen (1980-90); Priest-in-Charge of Stonesfield (1983-89); aged 92.

WAIT. - On 1 August, the Revd Alan Clifford Wait: Vicar of St Faith's, North Dulwich (1972-83); Rural Dean of Dulwich (1978-83); Vicar of St Barnabas's, Purley (1983-2001); Rural Dean of Croydon South (1993-2001); Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (2001); aged 78.
