Alpha danger of ‘second-class Christians’

From Gillian Nunn

Sir, — In response to “my Alpha experience” (Letters, 11 February) and direct contact with the Holy Spirit, I think it is important that at an Alpha course or similar event it should always be made clear that those who do not have such an experience are not “second-class” Christians.

The real presence of the Holy Spirit is seen in a person’s life, as he or she becomes — even very gradually — more Christ-like.
