Keep up the TAP effort

by
10 March 2010

HAVE YOU sent to the Church Times Train-A-Priest (TAP) Fund yet? The Gift Aid form is printed on our full-colour TAP leaflets, which are still available for congregations. Please do all you can to spread the word about TAP. Why not insert a form in the service leaflet one Sunday in Lent?

To request more leaflets (stating number required): contact the Editor, Church Times, 13-17 Long Lane, London EC1A 9PN;
email letters@churchtimes.co.uk; or phone 020 7776 1060.

The TAP Fund helps married and single ordinands in full-time training for the priesthood in the C of E. The TAP Special Hardship Fund exists to help any ordinand, training for the priesthood in the C of E in a college, on a course, or on an OLM scheme, whose training is jeopardised by unforeseen financial difficulty.

HOW TO GIVE: send to TAP Fund, Church Times, St Mary’s Works, St Mary’s Plain, Norwich NR3 3BH. To earmark a donation for either part of the Fund, please enclose a covering note.

The Archbishops’ Council processes the Gift Aid claims on behalf of the Fund, and cheques need to be made out accordingly. We need to receive both cheque and Gift Aid declaration together. CAF or Sovereign Giving cheques are also welcomed.
