GREENBELT 2009: Competition

18 August 2009

The question in June was: “Which Greenbelt 09 headliner had a BBC Radio 2 Record of the Week earlier this year?” The answer was Duke Special, for the album I Never Thought This Day Would Come. The first correct entry drawn out of the hat was from Brian Roberts.

In July, we asked: “What was the name of Athlete’s Mercury Prize-nominated debut album?” An entry from Jerry Bicknell was picked out from the many who knew that it was Vehicles & Animals. Brian and Jerry both win a pair of tickets for Greenbelt 09.

For the last chance to win two weekend tickets, answer the question below, but be quick — the festival starts next Friday, so we need answers in by Tuesday 25 August.

Sixpence None The Richer hit the US Top Ten with its cover of Crowded House’s Don’t Dream It’s Over. What is the name of Crowded House’s lead singer?

For those who haven’t won a competition, there is still a special offer for Church Times readers, which runs until Tuesday 25 August: ten per cent off weekend tickets when you book using the code “CTMUSIC”.
