We are looking to recruit an experienced Development Manager to maximise our fundraising capabilities. This role has a special relationship with the Rochester Cathedral Trust whose objective is to provide financial support to assist the Cathedral.
We are seeking an incumbent for this united benefice of two parishes in a beautiful part of rural Cheshire, with a total population of around 4,000. There are three churches (St Oswald Malpas, St John Threapwood and Holy Trinity Bickerton). The parishes are of central tradition. There are strong community links and several schools, including a church school. A good modern rectory is provided.
We are a liberal catholic parish in a village and suburban setting close to central London. We have a history of breaking new ground, with a commitment to and passion for serving our local community. While we are two churches, we are one Christian family, aiming to develop further as we come out of the pandemic.
The Trustees of this Anglican foundation wish to appoint a Chaplain who would be responsible, with a team of assistant clergy, for the Sunday Eucharist and daily worship, the spiritual and pastoral care of the residents, and work with the Warden to ensure the smooth running of the Community.
St Mary’s & St John’s are evangelical churches situated to the west of Basildon. Do you feel you are called to join us?
