Odyssey, by Robert Koenig

by
17 May 2007

Imposing: Odyssey, by Robert Koenig, visited Chichester Cathedral last weekend. The work evokes the spirits of his ancestors by wooden figures, 2.5 metres high, carved from lime trees in his mother’s village, Dominikowice, in Poland. For each new venue, a new figure is carved. The tour has followed her journey through Nazi-occupied Europe.
