Breakthrough: two of the remaining 21 South Korean hostages kidnapped in Afghanistan by Taliban rebels three weeks ago are released to the Red Cross and Red Crescent agencies, on Monday. Two hostages had previously been killed. The general secretary of the World Council of Churches, Dr Samuel Kobia, visited hostages’ families in Korea on Tuesday
