Hampshire pastoral scheme turned down
AFTER A HEARING last week (News, 12 March), the Church Commissioners rejected a scheme to unite two Hampshire benefices. The benefices, Candover Valley and Wield, were split over whether the Priest-in-Charge, the Revd David Keighley, should be named as incumbent. Together for a Season contains all-age ideas, and an introduction by the Bishop of Wakefield, the Rt Revd Stephen Platten, the chairman of the Liturgical Commission.
