Deans to retire

The Dean of Peterborough Cathedral, the Very Revd Michael Bunker , will retire in January. He was Vicar of St Matthew and St James, Muswell Hill, in London diocese, and a Prebendary of St Paul's Cathedral, before taking up his present appointment in 1992.

The Dean of Worcester, the Very Revd Peter Marshall, is to retire on 30 May 2006. He was a Canon Residentiary of Chelmsford and then Ripon Cathedral, where he was Director of Training, before taking up his present appointment in 1997.

ATKINSON. The Revd Dr Philip Atkinson, Chaplain of the Royal Wolverhampton School (Lichfield).
BRAZIER. The Revd Raymond Brazier, Vicar of St Matthew and St Nathanael, Kingsdown, Bristol, Hon. Canon of Bristol Cathedral (Bristol), and Chaplain to the Queen: 31 October.
CHARRINGTON. The Revd Nicholas Charrington, Diocesan Mothers' Union Chaplain (Hereford): 7 November.
CORNECK. The Revd Graham Corneck, Vicar of St Nicholas and St Luke, Deptford, Rural Dean of Deptford, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark): 30 November 2005.
GADD. The Revd Dr Alan Gadd,  Assistant Curate of Battersea Fields (Southwark).
HOLDSTOCK. The Revd Godfrey Holdstock, formerly Team Vicar in the Barnes Team Ministry (Southwark).
KNIGHT. The Revd David Knight, Vicar of Tysoe with Oxhill and Whatcote (Coventry): 1 December.
POPELY. The Revd David Popely, Hon. Assistant Curate of St Laurence's, Catford (Southwark).
ROGERS. The Revd Ronald Rogers, Priest-in-Charge of Holy Cross, Palermo (Europe).
SHILSON-THOMAS. The Revd Annabel Shilson-Thomas, part-time Assistant Curate of All Saints with St John the Evangelist, Kingston-upon-Thames (Southwark): 31 October.
SUMNER. The Revd Gillian Sumner, Diocesan NSM Adviser and Prebendary of Hereford Cathedral (Hereford).
TIDY. The Revd John Tidy, Vicar of St Andrew and St Mark, Surbiton (Southwark): 30 September.
TREDENNICK. The Revd Nicolette Tredennick, Vicar of St Matthew's, Redhill, and Hon. Canon of Southwark Cathedral (Southwark): 31 December.
