After Tanzania: more readers’ reflections on the Primates’ Meeting

Sir, — Am I alone in wanting to pause for a “brief moment of rejoicing” over the outcome of the Primates’ Meeting in Tanzania? Your leader comment (23 February) and the letters last week seem to be either negative, confused (Neil Inkley), cynical (Christine Austwick), or occasionally a very qualified endorsement (the Ven. Mark Oakley).

But I want to say, in the light of the inevitable ...
