THE NEWLY appointed Bishop of Coventry, the Rt Revd Dr Christopher Cocksworth, made a two-wheeled effort to meet the clergy and visit the rural churches of his diocese. Intending to take five days, he was out from dawn to dusk cycling around Warwickshire.

Having spent seven years in Cambridge as Principal of Ridley Hall Theological College, the Bishop was no stranger to bike rides, but this was quite a marathon. “I want to get to know the diocese,” he said ...
