obituary: DAVI GRUNDY

The Revd Mark Thomas writes:

DAVID Grundy, who died on 29 July, aged 76, was a pianist, organist, com­poser, and schoolmaster, whose musical gifts brightened many lives.

While studying at the Royal Academy of Music, he was assistant organist at All Souls’, Langham Place, and St Mary’s, Islington. After spells in Kent and Ox­fordshire, he moved to Shrop­shire in 1971, to become Direc­tor of Music at Adams Grammar School, Newport, and ...
