Universal seeks church choir for record deal

THE largest music company in the world has launched a talent search to find Britain’s best church choir.

Universal Music, which handles some of the biggest names in pop, has placed adverts in national news­papers to find the best choir. The win­ners will sign a record deal with Uni­versal, make an album of “Brit­ain’s best loved hymns”, and perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
