Head of US school shot dead

DALE REGAN, head at Episcopal High School in Jackson­ville, Florida, in the United States, was shot dead by a former teacher on Tuesday.

Speaking on Tuesday afternoon, a police spokesman said that an em­ployee whose contract had been terminated that morning had re­turned to the school in the after­noon.
