The Blue School Church of England Voluntary-Aided Primary School is seeking to appoint a committed, passionate, determined, experienced and inspirational Headteacher to lead the school. Our current Headteacher will be leaving at the end of the 2018 Spring Term as he moves onto the next phase of his career, and the Governing Body are looking to recruit an exceptional school leader to guide the school as it moves onto the next phase of its journey.
We are seeking an enthusiastic musician to help lead Parish worship, sharing the workload with our current organist and Choir Director, working with the existing SATB robed choir. 2 Sundays a month (one Sung Matins) plus preceding choir practice, and occasional special services. The Parish has a strong musical tradition and the church an excellent Holdich two manual organ.
The fast-growing town of Sedgefield just a few miles south of Durham, and the neighbouring villages of Fishburn, the three Trimdons and Bishop Middleham. Together, they are know as the Upper Skerne and they have a rich history.
The Bishop seeks to appoint an experienced priest as Chaplain of St. Alban’s Church in Copenhagen and sister congregations in Jutland, Denmark. Beautifully situated in the historic centre of Copenhagen, the church was built in 1887 and draws a large diverse Sunday attendance.
