Sir, - Your account of the latest attempt to unseat Bishop Mwenda< href="/80256fa1003e05c1/httppublicpages/a23f414677a49d2f802571800035cb72?opendocumentnews, 2 june) needs balancing for a fairer judgement on events in the lakmalawi diocese.opponents of the bishop may be claiming some legal victory, but munderstanding is that the suit they brought was thrown out, and the temporarrestraining order, barring the bishop from exercising his duties, was in effeclifted. he is now able to resume his work, and the diocesan offices anresidence are available to him.it is also to be hoped that those clergy supporting the bishop will now bfree of the fear from physical violence, and the threat of eviction from theihomes, that they have lived under in the past few weeks.this information comes to me from weekly communication with a priest in thdiocese, canon rodney hunter, whose reliability i trust. it is also his viethat matters would now be best left to settl
