Ed Thornton

Ed Thornton has been a reporter at Church Times since June 2010, and deputy news editor since January 2012. He also Tweets for the paper (@churchtimes) and at his own account (@Edthornton).

Ed has commented on church affairs for BBC News, the World Service, and various BBC local radio outlets. 

Before joining Church Times, Ed worked for a political magazine in Westminster and as a business journalist. He studied English Literature at Leeds University (where he was deputy editor of the Leeds Student newspaper), and has an MA in Political Journalism from City University.
