New archdeacon
THE NEXT Archdeacon of Carlisle, in Carlisle diocese, will be the Revd Kevin Roberts, Vicar of Meole Brace, in Lichfield diocese, since 1991, Rural Dean of Shrewsbury since 1998, and Prebendary of Lichfield Cathedral since 2002. He will be Canon Residentiary of Carlisle Cathedral.

ACKERMAN. The Revd David Ackerman, Priest-in-Charge of Sher­borne, Windrush, the Barringtons and Aldsworth, and Associate Priest of Northleach with Hampnett and Farmington, Cold Aston with Not­grove and Turkdean, and Comp­ton Abdale with Haselton, to be also Diocesan Ecumenical Officer (Gloucester).
