General Synod debate comes too late for Morley retreat house

| Morley House, the retreat house owned by the Diocese of Derby, is to close. The announcement was made on the retreat house website: Press Release: 21st January 2009 - The Trustees have announced that Morley Retreat House is to close later this year |
| Retreat houses are on the agenda for the forthcoming General Synod, but the discussion comes too late, as the press release points out: |
