Report exposes cruelty in Ghana's 'prayer camps'
THE "cruel, inhuman and degrading"
treatment of people with mental disabilities in Ghana has been
exposed in a report by Human Rights Watch.
The report Like a Death Sentence, includes accounts
by people who live in "prayer camps", many of whom were chained to
trees and forced to fast for weeks.
