THE Archbishop of Adelaide, Dr Jeffrey Driver, has told his
synod that up to 40 of the diocese's 62 parishes were either
fragile or "really struggling" because of falling
numbers. The demography suggested that they faced "not so
much a gradual decline as a rather rapid collapse over just a few
years".
