Do not retaliate, Okoh warns after gun attack

THE Primate of Nigeria, the Most Revd Nicholas Okoh, has urged Christians not to seek reprisals, after gunmen killed scores of people in attacks on Christian villages near the city of Jos.

At least 60 died in a series of assaults last Saturday, and more were killed the next day when a mass-burial service was targeted. The dead are expected to exceed 100, including at least 19 of the attackers.
