General Synod: York 6-9 July 2012
It was cloudy for most of last weekend, which suited a General
Synod overshadowed by the women-bishops vote. In the end - though,
of course, it's not the end - the Synod voted by exactly a
two-thirds majority to adjourn the final vote until November, by
which time the House of Bishops will have reconsidered the Measure
and the amendments it made in May.
