NZ cathedral in court
Posted: 12 Oct 2012 @ 00:37
THE owners of Christ Church Cathedral, in New Zealand, were
acting within their powers when they decided to demolish the
earthquake-damaged building, a court has heard.
The demolition of the cathedral is
being contested by a group that is campaigning to save and restore
what is left of the building. The Great Christchurch Building Trust
says that the building can be saved, and that its owners have a
moral and legal responsibility to do so.
