Little change to US church numbers

CHURCH attendance in the United States remains “very stable”, the 2011 Yearbook of American and Canadian Churches reports. The annual publication, which tracks church membership, found small declines in Protestant denominations, including southern Baptists, whose membership fell by 0.42 per cent to just over 16 million.
