Don’t let bailiffs be violent, says Nicolson
THE Christian anti-poverty trust Zacchaeus 2000 is campaigning to amend the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill to stop bailiffs’ being given the power by the Ministry of Justice to use violence against people “as a last resort” when entering a home to enforce a debt.
