Welcome return for hostages

THE National Council of Churches in Korea has welcomed the release last week of the remaining hostages held in Afghanistan by the Taliban (News, 31 August). Its general secretary, the Revd Kwon Oh-sung, said: “We hope that the event will be a start of enabling us to do more effective and safer services and missions.”
