Grace

Grace is a new glossy 48-page "handbag-size" lifestyle magazine aimed at teenage girls aged 11-16.

It is a Christian magazine, but doesn’t assume a Christian faith in its readers.

Its design will place it alongside popular high street magazines, but its content will include fashion, beauty, health, real-life stories, topical/lifestyle features.

There will also be interviews, reviews (books, music, films etc), quizzes, problem pages, letters and event listings alongside more innovative pages — such as a campaigns section on global issues, a "de-lites" section including "bite-size" chunks of the Bible and a lifestyle feature with a more obvious "discipleship" remit.

Grace will not be preachy, but will seek to encourage positive life choices and a "getting the most out of loving life and loving God" attitude. I

It will aim to be culturally aware and representative. And while aimed at a secondary school age group, it will be written with a 13/14 year-old reader in mind, acknowledging that teenage magazines pick up a large readership of aspirational pre-teen girls. In the first instance it will be published quarterly.
