CANON Bill Stuart-White was installed as Archdeacon of Cornwall,
in the diocese of Truro, just before Christmas.
People in his former parish of Wadebridge, where he will be much
missed as both a priest and a friend, gathered to say farewell, and
to present him with gifts.
But, as he had been heard to say, more than once, that being an
archdeacon was "the worst job in the Church of England", his
curate, the Revd Dom Whiting, thought that he might need an escape
plan, ...
