The Revd Ray Morris writes:
DEREK WILLS, who died on 22 October, aged 75, was a committed member of the choir of St Barnabas's, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, for more than 65 years. He sang regularly from boyhood until the last few weeks of his final illness.

His commitment was such that, as a teenager, he travelled back from his National Service camp in the Midlands at every opportunity to sing. Derek is representative of a generation that took commitment ...
