CRIBS OF all sorts are telling the Christmas story, from live animals in real stables to knitted shepherds and their sheep. This knitted crib scene again circulated round the parish of St Mary’s, Ross-on-Wye, in Hereford diocese, which is the home of Freda Davies, diocesan president of the Mothers’ Union.
