Harare confirms 1385 candidates

IT TOOK more than three hours on Sunday for the Bishop of Harare, the Rt Revd Sebastian Bakare, and the Suffragan Bishop of Warrington, the Rt Revd David Jennings, to lay hands on all the candidates who came forward for confirmation in the dio­­cese of Harare.

The 1385 people confirmed at the Nelson Mandela Hall, in the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society showgrounds, were all from churches in greater Harare, and had waited two years for their interim Bishop. Others were ...
