One-million mark

OVER THE past 20 years the people of the diocese of Wakefield have sent £1 million to their linked diocese of Mara, in Tanzania, as well as dozens of containers of other gifts such as those being packed here (above). The money has helped to set up health projects to tackle HIV/AIDS, and paid for the training of health workers.
