New village to surround old church

A redundant church mentioned in the Domesday Book is set to become the focal point for a new community, almost 30 years after it closed as a place of regular worship.

St Oswald’s (pictured, above) served the south Yorkshire hamlet of Sandall Parva for almost a millennium.
