Starting all over again

St Luke’s, Somers Town, in Portsmouth, was deserted. No one was coming to services, says the Revd Mark Rodel, a city-centre pioneer priest. There had been no baptisms for years. Now he is trying to start again, and, for the time being, they have given up on the Victorian Gothic St Luke’s, although it is still used by a local school.
There is a small congregation of 20 (above), five of whom are Mr Rodel’s own family, and two of whom live in Wilmcote ...
