THE RENEWAL of daily prayer has been a strong example of growth in the Church of England in recent years. But one of the consequences of a strong rhythm of prayer is a reluctance to break away from it. People who have adopted patterns of daily prayer do not find it easy to use resources that are offered as an alternative.
