The 50 most influential Anglicans

09/07/2008 22:00:00

The Telegraph has compiled a list of The 50 most influential figures in the Anglican Communion and will be revealing the results over the next 4 days. Numbers 41-50 of the 'Lambeth Power List' are now online. [Update: 40-31]

Bloggers are included - Simon of Thinking Anglicans is at number 46. Just think where he'd be if he hadn't been away for two weeks during GAFCON and Synod. The big question is of course whether anyone can trump the Archbishop of Canterbury. Ruth Gledhill? Probably not, given that it is a Telegraph feature.

Any chance of Jesus being in the top 10? In fact, I'd settle for any member of the Trinity.

Being the Telegraph, I'm pretty sure that Archbishop Akinola and/or Archbishop Jensen will come out ahead of Rowan - and don't forget they will want to fit the Queen in somewhere!
