THE chapel at Haddo House played an important part in the long life of Lady Aberdeen, who died at Haddo on 22 June, aged 96. She had lived at Haddo, near Ellon, in Aberdeenshire, for more than 60 years, and rarely missed a service in the house’s elegant chapel.
