Friends of Cathedral Music grants
THE Friends of Cathedral Music have announced the following grants to: Blackburn Cathedral, £2000 for additional music desks for choristers; Coventry Cathedral, £20,000 for FCM scholarships for one boy and one girl; St Woolos’s Cathedral, Newport, £30,000 for the endowment fund to support the salaries of the Organist and the Assistant Organist; Ripon Cathedral, £20,000 towards the endowment of choristers; Sheffield Cathedral, £5,000 towards a grand piano for the Song School; Southwark Cathedral, £50,000 for a fund to endow an FCM lay clerk; St Paul’s Parish Church, Bedford, £6000 to aid the existing endowment fund for Choral Scholarships.
ARNESEN. The Revd Paul Arnesen, formerly Mental Health Chaplain of Sheffield Care Trust, to be Bishop’s Adviser in Pastoral Care and Counselling (Sheffield).
BOURNE. The Revd Colin Bourne, Assistant Curate of All Saints’, Wellington with Eyton (Lichfield), to be Priest-in-Charge of Toton (Southwell & Nottingham).
BRADFORD. The Revd Alan Bradford, Assistant Curate of Countesthorpe with Foston (Leicester), to be Assistant Curate (Assistant Minister) of Warfield (Oxford).
COPELAND. The Revd Annabel Copeland, Assistant Curate in the Billericay and Little Burstead Team Ministry, to be Team Vicar in the Great Baddow Team Ministry (Chelmsford).
