| Dig this: excavations at the archaeological site of St Peter’s Cathedral, Geneva, in Switzerland, have revealed detail of mosaics in the bishop’s reception. The site is to receive a conservation medal in the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage, Europa Nostra. The award ceremony is at Durham Cathedral next Thursday. The UK medal-winner is the conservation of The Grange at Ramsgate |
